I purchased parallels in July 2022, just received an email in September 2022 telling me that the version I purchased will not be compatible with apples new update. I have to upgrade for another £54 to get it to work. They will only offer free upgrades if the license was purchased sometime in august. Customer services is useless and offer no help at all. Will not be using them again

Purchased like 6 months ago Parallels 17, which was latest release, still celebrated by the producer like a great tool. After 6 months, I received yesterday an email that the next release of MacOSX won't support Parallels 17, so either I buy the 18 for 70 euros, or I basically wated my money for 6 months (and I paid 100 for 17). Absurd that these things are obliged by the law. Never buy again from these people. There are identical and even free alternatives. Really, don't support who behaves like this.

This has been the worst software purchase experience for me! I paid the $100+ for the standard version, installed it and installed Windows 11 on my M1 Mac. I was so excited to finally start playing my Steam games, but none of my games would launch! I couldn't even install the Xbox app! What is the point of me buying this thing and setting up Windows if none of my games could run? They didn't mention this compatibility issue on their website. They only mentioned all the pros but none of the cons. They just want you to pay as quickly as possible! So misleading! DON'T BUY PARALLELS DESKTOP! IT IS A SCAM!

The best virtual machine for Mac OS , and I run the windows 11 on the PD18 without any problem , it is stable and running perfectly, by the way, I install the windows 11 direclty from Parallels, But I get the win 11 from the Microsoft parnter online store keyingo.com, hope I can help someone who needs it !

Very similar experience to other reviewers. The support team is obviously not reading my detailed problem after days of waiting for a response. Good product bad customer service. This does not influence me to spend money and continue to be their customer. Also, my issue is on their forums, but their solutions do not work for me, why I went to customer service, which from this experience appears to only be a bot with automatic replies.

Back on August 7/22 I bought Parallels Desktop 17 for my Macbook M1 Pro , secretly these people knew it didn't work with Macbook M1 Pro, they knew it had problems . I could not get them to tell me it didn't until they had danced me around for days until suddenly they turn around and say Desktop 18 works for Macbook M1 Pro but they put a deadline that meant I was 8 days too late to get a free upgrade. I finally said I wanted a refund but now its a couple days too late for a refund for this failure of an app. Worst company ever.

So... My story with this company is short. I was plan to combine Parallels Desktop 18 for Mac + Parallels Access to work on my computer remotely with two operating systems (nice combo :p). So I bough Parallels Desktop 18 for Mac lifetime, and I received Parallels Access for couple of months for free (So I could test it before even pay - of course you have trial option as well). However as I was extremely pleased with virtual machine unfortunately remote control didn't work very well for me. It's probably because of my home internet. I also struggled with a locking desktop etc... (maybe also because internet). I decide do request for refund and without any problems I get it. As I said, VM for me was great, just remote access had some issue. Overall because no issue with refund I can recommend this company. And will check in future for they products :p

Not brilliant, sadly...

I tried the trial because I needed to run windows on my mac, and hoped this would fit my needs. I didn't have to run anything too powerful, but I found when I had Parallels open, it pretty much rendered my M1 IMac useless for absolutely everything else. This was even the case even when I had nothing open on Parallels. Everything on my Mac OS would repeatedly freeze for 30 seconds at a time and the whole process became very frustrating, very quickly. Not sure if this just happens in the trial version, but when I tried to contact customer support about it, I couldn't find out how to email or contact an actual person. All I got were suggestions to go to the forum, or talk to the bot. Not sure if they reserve live support chat for paying customers, but it doesn't give one confidence to purchase for the full version if you cant even talk to someone about the trail not working as advertised.

I own my MacBook Pro for 2+ years now and I like to say (and did so several times already): "If I would have my last 100 EUR to buy any software, I would buy a Parallels Desktop license.". Yes, Parallels is really THAT good: extremely stable (much more than my previous HP ZBook top spec laptop) and running flawlessly Windows XP, 7, 10, Server 2016, 2019 at the same time = in parallel(s)! Thank you very much Parallels team, well done - absolute satisfaction!

The company behind this product, Cleverbridge ag, renewed my annual - unwanted - Parallels subscription without warning, without consent and without option to refund. The net shows many others with similar complaints. After my critical Trustpilot review Parallels got in touch promptly and refunded, for which thanks, but that doesn't help others caught out. Another tech company emailed me just now to alert me their subscription will fall due in two days time, with an option to cancel. Parallels / Cleverbridge please copy.
